Anniversary in AZ

We left on Friday morning at 7am on a perfect flight to Phoenix. We got a silver Pontiac G6 for a rental and took off through downtown. Lots of areas under construction. Checked into the Marriott, took a little nap and then suited up for some pool time. The weather was perfectly sunny and breezy. did a little swim in the heated pool and then cleaned up for a nice dinner at a country club. Surf and Turf for me! YUMM-O

Saturday sleeping in and relaxing breakfast. Time for the White Sox vs. The Diamondbacks baseball game. Again, perfectly sunny with a gentle breeze. White Sox won!!
Drive out to beautiful red Rocks in Sedona. We came in right as the sun was setting. Checked into a very, very nice B&B and the suggested dinner out was for the best pizza in the world. Kinda like california pizzas... but better I thought.
Jump in the hot tub outside under the stars. It was FREEZING when we got out!!!

Sunday happy anniversary! up at 6am to watch sunrise over the castle red rocks right from our room! Savory breakfast and off to do some shopping and sight -seeing. World's best hotdog... hmmm... and then off to the ATV tour. WHOA and WOW!!! FUN, FUN,FUN!!! We rode 32 miles in the state park.
Got back to get cleaned up very quickly for our 7pm dinner reservation.

Monday up at 630 am again to watch the sun peak up over the tallest peak. Packed up, ate a Sweet breakfast and headed back to Phoenix for our 1pm flight... again perfectly on time. Short trip, but full of adventure thanks to the wonderful planning by Bryce!! A trip definitely to remember!!
