This is my lovely new rock garden that my wonderful husband put it! (we don't have $10,000 for a fancy waterfall so we will have an au naturale when it rains!)
We needed to address the issue of erosion. with all the heavy rains and heavy snow fall the last two years, we have been losing much of our yard! You can see where we get hit from 2 rain gutters; ours and our neighbor's,and how the water would naturally flow down and around the concrete retaining wall and we ended up with a very dirty "patio" for BBQing and getting mail.
I have a raspberry "twig" planted and will finish it up with flowers next weekend, along with the garden. Bryce is going to keep on going all around the house.. again, to solve the erosion problems we are having. Pro to living on a hill: no basement flooding! Con to living on the side of the hill: We are holding it up! I will continue to update!
