a new week

We had a good weekend. I was able to go out Saturday and get some very long overdue errands done... you know the ones that you just can't drag all the kids around to. =) I finally picked up a baby gift for Amelia and got some supplies for my new fall UL project displays.

Bryce did infact get the bikes cleaned up and we borrowed the neighbor's "Burlee" a.k.a baby cart to hook up to the back for Megan to ride in. She didn't want to at first, and then she surprised us and went! I stayed home =( to clean up Megans room. Bryce took them on the bike trail down by the Fox River. they rode a total of 5 miles! And Cavan needs a better bike... what a trooper! He had mixed feelings about wether or not he liked the bike ride... he was TIRED and HOT! He took a cool bath and he was good with that! later that nite, he was crying that his legs hurt. We had a little talk about how he was out of practice, he went really far, he needs a new bike, etc. I knew he liked the ride b/c he told me just about every detail of it! Well, in the morning he was all ready for another one! He heard Bryce say that they would go North next time to check things out and that got Cavan excited to go exploring.
Unfortunately, we had to go to church in the morning and then clean up the house for our dinner guests that were coming, so no bike ride. He already asked if they could go when Bryce got home today.

oh yeah, I forgot to say that Cavan did infact finish the MTH series! 38 books!
He has one more left to read, the newest one and we have to go buy it!
