The kids were challenged by the Principal to "get caught reading" this summer and email the pics to her all summer long and she will put together a special presentation the first week back to school. I think she wants them to be in unusual places, so we will get creative, but Cavan took that challenge so seriously and has already started! I bought him 2 magic treehouse chapter books last weekend while hiding out in the hotel, hoping that would keep the boys out of trouble from boredom. Cavan immediately became "obssessed" and has earned the title "bookworm"! Since Saturday, He has read 9 books! Ryan read a new A to Z mystery, Detective camp and is now reading the Jigsaw Jones books. He has read a fair amount, but just not quite as much as Cav. we signed all three up for the library's summer reading program and they get a free paperback at the end. Hopefully, we will not run out of books of interest!
